Marsworth go-ahead

Approval has been given for revised plans to redevelop the former British Waterways yard at Marsworth, retaining the historic Carpenters' Workshop building which had been threatened with demolition. The original BW proposals from late 2009 would have involved removal of all existing buildings including the stone-built workshop building which stands by the junction of the Grand Union Main Line and Aylesbury Arm.
