Volunteers Have Given up time to help birds breed at three waterway locations - Earlswood Lakes near Solihull, on the Staffordshire & Worcester Canal near Wofverley and at Greensforge. The 21 volunteers joined Canal & River Trust ecologist Paul Wilkinson during National Nest Box Week (NNBW) to install 50 bird boxes to house a variety of species including wrens, nuthatches, starlings, house sparrows, tree sparrows, blue tits, great tits, willow and marsh tits.
