Russ hubble started out by fitting out a boat for himself - then someone offered to buy it. "I was surprised by how much they were willing to pay, so I sold it to them," he says. Then someone else asked him to fit out their boat and he began to realise that there might be a business for him. His wife, Clare, also works in the business and spends a lot of time brush in hand, painting the exteriors and varnishing the interiors. "People assume I just do the paperwork," she says. "But we build the boats together and I get involved in all aspects."
