I always rather feel as though April is all systems go. Having waited and waited for the right time to get sowing, it now seems as though it all happens at once. Of course, gardening onboard a boat is rather different from gardening in a garden; space being the main issue, especially when it is necessary to set seeds before planting outside. The next consideration is safety as the roof of a boat should be considered as a working area and plants should not create a hazard. However, no matter how small a boat there is always, in my opinion, space to have a pot of plants either purely for decoration or to grow something tasty to eat.
