Q I have an AMC control panel running my 1982 BMC 1500 and need to replace the oil pressure sender unit (it has three terminals and bears the numbers 7/95 12v) but have been unable to contact AMC. It is not displaying the correct pressure and the needle swings violently. I have fitted a mechanical gauge to check engine oil pressure but expect that the original electrical sender will trigger the low pressure warning buzzer.
