Castle Wharf in Nottingham, once home to the famous Fellows, Morton & Clayton cargo company, is set to come alive with working boats once more on 10 October at an event celebrating Nottinghamshire's waterways. Led by the Canal & River Trust's East Midlands partnership, it will tie in with other events including a beer and cider festival held at Nottingham Castle. The partnership is keen to attract 20 historic boats to help people appreciate the important role their canals played in shaping where they live today. If you want to bring a historic boat, contact enquiries.
