This dramatic evening view shows the Boardwalk at Mercia Marina on the Trent & Mfirspv Canal, whinh has heen namfiri Britain's Best Small Commercial Building at the grand final of the LABC Building Excellence Awards. The Boardwalk is a promenade of six retailers, with offices above, centred around a two-storey har and restaurant, and frnntina nn to a wooden walkway raised above the marina basin. LABC (Local Authority Building Control) Chief Executive Paul Everall said: "This project is an excellent example of how a building can reflect the environmental nontext in whinh it is located."
