This month is your chance to give family and friends a little nudge in the direction of Christmas gifts. There are always little (and large) things I would like but don't buy for some reason or perhaps can't justify. Colourful raffia for tying up plants or new snippers perhaps, not strictly 'needed' but still bring delight and definitely fall into the category of being both useful and beautiful. In my home during the run up to Christmas one will often find a gardening catalogue open at a certain page, or an article promoting something of interest. This also works in the boating department as how often do you see that mirror with led lights on a telescopic handle or long handled grabbers and think 'next time I'll get one of those'?
