With Canada's economic outlook at a cautiously optimistic level, 63 per cent of supply chain professionals say they are expecting to get a raise in 2020, according to this year's Survey of the Logistics Professional. Up against that optimism, however, is the fact that the overall average salary dropped compared to our 2018 survey. In 2019, the average salary was $92,289 compared to an average overall salary of $99,902 two years ago. Taking a closer look, there were fewer respondents in 2019 that fall in the older age range (45+). As part of this trend, there were also fewer respondents in our sample with more than 20 years experience in the field.
