How to Build a Stronger Country

U.S.manufacturing, which comprises 18 percent of the domestic economy and was once the core around which America rose to global relevance, is getting a little power back in its punch. Lower energy costs and manufacturing innovations such as 3D printing are a big part of the U.S. manufacturing resurgence, but they are not the story in its entirety. Just as important to the mix is an unprecedented spirit of collaboration and partnership between manufacturers-those that make products with which you're familiar, and those that make those products possible with their own manufacturing and innovation. If a rising tide lifts all boats, it is this latter group that is acting as the tide.
