Keolis wins Las Vegas contract from Veolia

Keolis Transit America (KTA), the French group's subsidiary based in California, has won a five-year contract to run 60% of bus services in Las Vegas from 7 July. The Regional Transportation Commission (RTC) has awarded the southern fixed-route contract with two two-year options and is one of two management contracts for the Southern Nevada transit system. It will generate a total turnover of $500million (£332million). Previously operated by Veolia, the whole network was divided into two lots with the objective of having two different operators running the services.
