ENTRANCE ICONS, BUT WHY ARE THEY THERE?

Look at the front of Go-Ahead London VM1, and the entrance. There are several icons, messages and stickers. Some are telling the emergency services how to open the door, some boast an ISO qualification, which is an irrelevance to most passengers. We have a man with a walking stick telling us — well actually I do not know what. There are the makers' badges, the fleetnumber and an icon for wheelchair users portraying (though not explicitly saying) low-floor vehicle.
