David Maxey and Visions have developed a momentum with these pictorial reviews of the past years' changes in London, that for 2013 being the third in the series. They are quite different from some longer established productions. Maxey's writing style is far from stuffy; quite the contrary it comes across as conversational, maybe echoing the thought process many readers might follow while considering the topics covered. This is probably a bit like Marmite - you will either love it or hate it - but there is no right or wrong when it comes to taste. He writes as I imagine he speaks and, if so, he speaks as he finds. And there are subjects about which it also is clear that he holds firm opinions. Unless I misunderstand, he appear to have no fondness for overall advertisements when applied to a double-decker.
