Go South Coast places £10m order

Go South Coast has placed a £10million order with Alexander Dennis for 49 new vehicles to be delivered within the next nine months. This calls for 45 buses - 32 Enviro400 MMC double-deckers and 13 Enviro200 single-deckers - plus four Plaxton-bodied Volvo coaches. Twelve of the double-deckers will be standard specification 10.9m vehicles for shorter urban routes, while the other 20 will be built to a higher specification. Seventeen are destined for interurban routes and will incorporate tables on the upper deck, WiFi, USB charging points, high-back seats, mood lighting and wood-effect floors.
