Falcon flies in as Abellio finally quits Surrey

Abellio Surrey withdrew its last commercial service, 461 (Kingston-Addlestone), from 14 September. Falcon Buses took over the service the following day, adding an extra return journey. The evening and Sunday service, run under contract to Surrey County Council by Rotala-owned Hallmark Connections, continues unchanged. This was the last part of Abellio's former National Express operation in Surrey. NatEx acquired it from Tellings-Golden Miller whose founding Telling family owns Falcon.
