Surrey introduces 12-operator Acorn ticket post-Abellio

With a multiplicity of operators replacing Abellio's routes in Surrey, the county council has worked with a dozen companies to introduce a new day and weekly ticket issued and accepted across most routes in north Surrey, as far west as Woking. The Acorn ticket costs £7 for a day and £30 for a weekly ticket, and also allows travel on some routes to Kingston and Heathrow Airport. Five of the operators involved -Arriva, Falcon Buses, Hallmark, Stagecoach and White Bus - also participate in the more expensive Discovery ticket, which covers much of south east England. The remaining seven - Carlone, Chatterbus, First Berkshire, RATP London United, RATP Quality Line, Reptons and Runnymede Community Transport - do not.
