GDA Receives Department of Commerce Award

On December 16, Geothermal Development Associates (GDA), a Reno-based company, received an Export Achievement Certificate from the US Department of Commerce. The award was presented in appreciation of GDA's recent accomplishments in the global marketplace. With the assistance of the US Commercial Service Office, GDA successfully competed against Icelandic, Norwegian, and Chinese firms to win a significant project developing a geothermal well field on behalf of the Kenya Electricity Generation Company, KenGen.
