摘要

Exposure to aluminum sulphate induced the production of free radicals, accompanied with changes in enzymatic and non-enzymatic antioxidants as indicated by increase in malondialdehyde and decrease in the amounts of glutathione, vitamin C, vitamin E, catalase and glutathione reductase activities in the liver of mice treated orally for 1,2 and 3 weeks with 3 dose levels of aluminum sulphate (1/16, 1/8 and 1/4 LD50). Administration of ascorbic acid (20 mg/kg b.wt) showed a significant improvement in the values of the previous enzymatic and non-enzymatic antioxidants.
