The 56th session of the IMO Sub-Committee on Safety of Navigation (NAV)

La 56ème session du Sous-Comité de la Sécurité de la Navigation s'est tenue du 26 au 30 juillet 2010 au siège de l'OMI à Londres. Des représentants de 67 Etats Membres et de 25 Organisations Observateurs étaient présents. Le Secrétaire Général, Omar Frits Er?ksson et Jean-Charles Leclair représentaient l'Association. Le point le plus important débattu durant la semaine concernait la e-Navigation, notamment l'adoption des propositions du groupe par correspondance sur les besoins des utilisateurs et sur l'architecture du système. Enfin de session, il a été décidé de rétablir le Groupe par Correspondance sur la e-Navigation afin de poursuivre le travail pendant l'intersession. Au-delà de son active participation aux travaux du Groupe par Correspondance, principalement par l'intermédiaire de ses Membres, l'AISM avait soumis six différents documents au Sous-Comité sur le sujet, rapportant le travail effectué par l'Association durant l'année écoulée ainsi que les décisions qu'elle a prises.%The 56th session of the IMO Sub-Committee on Safety of Navigation was held at the IMO headquarters in London during the period 26th to 30th July, 2010. It was attended by representatives Jrom 67 Member States and 25 Observer Organizations. The Secretary General, Omar Frits Eriksson and Jean-Charles Leclair were representing the Association. The most important item discussed during the week was e-Navigation, including the adoption of the proposals of the dedicated correspondence group on the user needs and on the system architecture. At the end of the session, it was decided to re-establish the e-Navigation Correspondence Group to continue to progress the work intersessionally. Beyond its active participation to the Correspondence Group, mainly through its Members, IALA submitted six different documents to the Sub-Committee on this matter, reporting on the work done by the Association and the decisions taken during the past year.
