Tideland Signal, international specialist in aids to marine navigation, has supplied two specially modified SBI38P buoys to the new port of Doha, Qatar, which is due to open early in 2116. The buoys have been modified by Safe Sea Services,Tideland's associate company in the Gulf, to accommodate data logger equipment supplied by YSI Nanotech to record water quality, as the environmental impacts of the project are a major priority for the developers, Qatar Port Management Company.
