Firstly, a warm welcome to all the regular readers of the Bulletin for 2014 and to all who may be viewing this publication for the first time. I hope that you find this edition of the Bulletin both informative and a good read! Long-term readers of the Bulletin would have noticed with our last edition 2013/4, that there has been a slight change in format as our new Editor, Marie-Hélène Grillet, looks to evolve the Bulletin for the years ahead. IALA is very interested to hear from our readers on their views with respect to the publication and if there are certain areas that they would like to see focussed on in future editions.
