Mr Eriksson is from Iceland and has an impressive maritime career, most recently as Director of Maritime Technology at the Danish Maritime Authority. He also occupied the position of Head of the Innovation Division of the former Danish Maritime Safety Administration and, prior to that, he was Head of the Aids to Navigation Division of the latter organization. He also was the Technical Director of the same organization for ten years.
