Second scientific expedition across Hoh Xil fruitful

After their last year's maiden trip to desolate Hoh Xil (Kekexili), China's largest and the world's third largest uninhabited area, a group of scientists led by DING Lin from the CAS Institute of Tibetan Plateau Research (ITP) recently completed their second-stage survey of the area. Scientists say their comprehensive studies in the region have produced many exciting research results in various fields.
