Fas/FasL system ahs been identified as a key kmediatory of apoptosis in tumor cells~[1-4]. The occurrence and developemtn of neoplasm are closely related to apoptosis~[5-7]. Most chemotherapeutic drugs kill cancer cells mainly by inducing apoptosis~[8-14]. We determined the Fas/FasL expression and apoptosis of colon adenocarcinoma cell lines induced by chemotherapeutic drugs with flow cytometry (FACScan), and studied the relationship between Fas/FasL expression and apoptosis of colon adenocarcinoma cell lines for selection of sensitive chemotherapeutic drugs and appropriate dosage.
