As experience is gained in co-firing of biomass with coal for power generation, a growing trend is emerging towards dedicated biomass power plants instead of using coal as the primary fuel source.rnHowever, despite being a relatively clean, lightweight commodity, it poses its own handling problems. Indeed, biomass' very low density represents significant logistical handling and storing challenges.
