Weil-am-Rhein crane upgrade

Konecranes in Germany has completed a modernisation project on a 25-year old, widespan, lattice boom RMG in the Upper Rhine port of Weil-am-Rhein, close to Basel and Mulhouse. The crane, rated at 14t/25t, has a span of 52m and a lifting height of 30m. It is used mainly to handle coal, sand and gravel, but also to handle containers and piece goods under hook.
