While the biomass market retains considerable potential for suppliers of pneumatic discharging systems, such as Neuero and Vigan, their core business remains the agri-bulk sector. Although possibly less efficient, using grabs for biomass handling tends to be the preferred solution for third-party stevedores, while power generating plants favour pneumatic discharge. There is a parallel scenario for coal handling, where stevedores employ grab un-loaders while coastal power plants tend to opt for CSUs.
