Market fears halt Wimpey yuppie flats

Wimpey last week halted work on the site of its flagship London Docklands housing development because of concerns over market conditions. Site sources said Jarvis, contractor for the £11.1 m Western Beach Plaza, was told to stop work because Wimpey feared that the demand for the luxury flats had collapsed.
