Kier and Wates have been shortlisted for a final batch of schools to come to market through the directly funded element of the government's flagship schools programme. Building understands Kier and Wates have been invited to tender for the batch of schools in the east of England, understood to be worth around ￡23m, which is the final batch to come to market through the ￡400m directly funded element of the Priority School Building Programme.
