Celebrated planner and urbanist Peter Hall dies, aged 82

Peter Hall, the celebrated planner, urbanist and geographer, has died. The Bartlett Professor of Planning and Regeneration and president of the Town and Country Planning Association, who died last week, was 82. He was widely recognised as the most influential planning expert in the country and wrote or co-authored dozens of seminal works, the most recent of which, Good Cities, Better Lives, was published to acclaim last year.
