The first Hong Kong & Shenzhen Bi-City Biennale of UrbanisrrAArchitecture is taking place in Hong Kong from January 9 to March 15, 2008. The event is held at the prominent historical Central Police Station Compound in the Central District. The Biennale, under the theme "Re-fabricating City," being Hong Kong's first ever Architectural Biennale Exhibition, will set a milestone in Hong Kong's architectural arena.rnThe two months exhibition highlights how architecture, design and planning are able to engage in the process of generating and regenerating the city's fabrics. The Biennale Exhibition stages over 60 local and overseas works. Through the extensiveness of exhibits, the organizer wishes to bring the general public closer to the broader perspective of Urbanism & Architecture, architecture and to arouse wider interest in the city's cultural scene.
