Tung Tau Cottage Area West project, Kowloon City

摘要

In the Quality Public Housing Construction and Maintenance Awards 2008, the Tung Tau Cottage Area West project in Kowloon City won the Outstanding Piling Project Award in the New Works Projects category.rnBuilding a public housing estate in the Tung Tau Cottage Area West has been a challenging project because a steep slope takes up more than 40 per cent of the long and narrow site. The project has to optimise the available land space while ensuring the design fits in with its surroundings, allowing ample airflow and sunlight into the estate.
