The response to BD's campaign to list Robin Hood Gardens has been extraordinary. Among the many hundreds of comments we've received, many of you are surprised that the estate hasn't been listed already. Others point out that if it is allowed to be demolished, its replacement would be vastly inferior, and there is general agreement that there are powerful environmental arguments for its reuse.rnBut as well as readers' passionate defence of the building and its potential to become our equivalent of the Unite in Marseilles, BD's campaign has unearthed another worrying issue - the way the one-sided consultation process has allowed demolition to become the favoured option.
