摘要

Wireless cameras are devices that transmit the video signals they capture wirelessly - via radio waves - rather than through cables. By eliminating cumbersome cable connections, wireless cameras allow unlimited freedom of movement - including, in particular, the ability to get close to subjects, thus capturing powerful footage from short distances. As a result, they are now being used to broadcast a wide variety of programming types, from live broadcasts of the sports events, such as golf and track and field, to music programs. We are conducting research and development of millimeter-wave Super Hi-Vision (SHV) wireless cameras with a usage of radio waves in a millimeter-wave band (42-GHz band) in order to transmit high-quality 4K/8K video footage with low delay, as shown in Fig. 1.
