PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system capable of synthesizing (encoding) two images taken by two left and right video cameras into one 3D video and viewing it as a 3D image on a display. SOLUTION: The system uses two cameras having a resolution corresponding to half the number of horizontal pixels of a 3D display, and executes an application program in which each pixel of the two cameras is arranged in a checkered pattern on the pixel equivalent of the display. Equipped with a computer. The checkered pattern arrangement means that the first scanning line pixels of the left camera are arranged sequentially on the first scanning line (odd-numbered rows) of the display by skipping one, that is, arranged only in the odd-numbered columns. The first scanning line pixels of the right camera are arranged one by one from the second column on the second scanning line (even rows) of the display, that is, arranged only in the even columns.
