Using socioeconomic evidence in clinical practice guidelines

Socioeconomic position is known to affect health outcomes and delivery of health care Guidelines for clinical practice have not routinely incorporated evidence on the effect of socioeconomic position A framework is described for using socioeconomic evidence in development of clinical practice guidelines Routine use of the framework should contribute to more equitable health care.
