Photoshot Acquires Legal Imagery Library Photo News Service

Photoshot is adding to its portfolio of picture libraries with an agency specialising in legal-related imagery. Photo News Service, a long established agency based in the Old Bailey in London has specialised in images from law courts and criminal news in the UK since 1985, and has become Photoshot's tenth acquisition since 2001.Photoshot's managing director, Charles Taylor, believes that the company's existing news operation service, Universal Pictorial Press & Agency (UPPA), which takes and supplies the formal portraits of judges, will directly complement the new acquisition.
