Although the worknwas never printed in hard copy, it has been available onnthe Free Associations website (http://www.humannature.ncom/free-associations/glover/index.html)nand there is a facsimile of it in The British Libraryn(http://catalogue.bl.uk: Glover, Nicola).nGlover says in the Introduction that she wants tonshow that the British School’s approach to aesthetics isnunique in that it constitutes a broadly humanistic andndemocratic view of artistic work. She states that thenBritish School ‘has the capacity to yield insights unobtainablenin any other way’, and British psychoanalysisn‘seems to yield the most possibilities in tackling bothnthe intra-psychic processes involved in creativity andnthe way these are implicated in the formal structure ofnart’ (p. xxiii).
