Tesco takes own-brand cookie dough

Dublin firm Kooky Dough has signed a deal with Tesco to supply a range of own-brand cookie dough mixes. Its chilled product - packaged in a clear tub, cut into 12 individually pieces of dough in chocolate chip and white chocolate & cranberry varieties - is now sold in 285 stores in the UK and 57 stores in Ireland, The 18-month-old firm began supplying 24 Tesco Ireland stores in November last year with four of its branded doughs; this is the first time Tesco UK and Ireland has featured an own-brand cookie dough line, said founder Graham Clarke.
