Adisturbing trend seems to be rearing its ugly head with bridges around the world being made to do things that, quite frankly, they shouldn't be doing. Firstly, there is the footbridge restoration project under way in Ireland where the renovated structure is most explicitly being expected - nay demanded - to wobble. Opened in 1927, Daly's Bridge is a 50m-long, 1.4m-wide wrought-iron structure spanning the River Lee. The only suspension bridge in the city of Cork, it is colloquially known as 'Shaky Bridge' due to the signature movement of the deck when running or jumping on it.
