Thank goodness the days of scantily clad women in candy-coloured bikinis draped over gleaming motor cars are over - or are they? The automotive and hi-tech industries still use attractive women to draw crowds; except nowadays they're sporting a little more cloth. This somehow conveys the message that the big boy with his toy has grown up, become sophisticated, and knows full well that the car really doesn't come with the girl thrown in. That said, over in Formula 1 they're having a wail of a time. Just take a look at the Pit Babes (incidentally you can see them at www. ... hey, I'm sure you can figure that out for yourself). But let's face it; it's a marketing truism - sex sells.
