As the new minister of the MOTC, I am elated to be working with an elite team who achieved high execution efficiency for the organization with unity and devotion. Under the leadership of Chi-Kuo Mao, Vice Premier of Executive Yuan, the MOTC laid a solid foundation for the transportation infrastructure and communication services. In addition to relentlessly making persistent efforts, all the MOTC staff shall strive toward becoming "an agent for magnificent living" ， and engage in all undertakings with "innovation" and "det ermination" . The following are the four areas we should focus on: 1. Proactive in Deregulation: To facilitate the implementation of the regulations to aid our operations, a comprehensive review for the deregulation and adjustment of the MOTC administered regulations is warranted. Within a week, the Department of Railways and Highways, and the Department of Navigation and Aviation shall actively research and propose three regulations that can be deregulated and adjusted.
