Not content with exploring beneath the sea, Aston Martin has teamed up with the UK's Cranfield Aerospace Solutions, Cranfield University and Rolls-Royce to create this "near-future" concept aircraft. The design gives it hybrid-electric power, vertical take-off and landing capability and room for three adults. How much it will cost is anyone's guess - but the sky will undoubtedly be the limit. BMW Motorrad's GS models have consistently set the benchmark in adventure touring motorcycles since the launch of the R80GS in 1980. Its 797cc engine and physical size made it a comfortable long-distance tourer, and its high mudguards, pliant suspension and raised exhausts were tailor-made to tempt riders away from the beaten track. The latest GS brings the formula up to date with a 136 horsepower liquid-cooled engine with hill start, satnav, an advanced anti-lock brake system and a vast range of luggage and accessories to make it suitable for any adventure.
