A Double Date with depth

Ican't lay claim to having achieved many significant firsts, but 15 years ago I became the first person to write about a start-up watch company called Linde Werdelin. The piece appeared in the Financial Times in the UK, and the firm was so new that it had yet to make its first production piece - but the unique approach of the founders appealed to me, and their enthusiasm made me feel confident that the brand would be around for some time to come.
