Microsoft's new German headquarters in Munich is a smart, modern office building with a facade designed to look like gigantic windows opening on to the surrounding landscape. Situated in the Parkstadt Schwabing district and designed by GSP Architekten, the building is wrapped in boxy, bright-white Corian, enclosing modulated window frames with dark louvres. The structure comprises seven floors that are staggered to create an open campus layout with plant-covered terraces and courtyards.
