Much of the preliminary work on the development of e-Navigation services and systems in Canada is currently underway and progress to date has been based on clearly understanding user needs. Moving forward, the development of e-Navigation services in Canada will continue to be user-driven, taking into consideration user requirements, as well as national and international directives.
