Schenectady, N.Y.-based DSM launched Fortitech Premixes, the company's human nutrition and health custom nutrient premix service. The Fortitech Premixes service will utilize the company's facilities around the world to deliver formulation solutions with technical expertise. Each custom premix developed by the service offers a single source of multiple nutrients, including vitamins, minerals, amino acids and nutraceuticals, for use in sports drinks, juices, waters and supplements, among other products. In addition, Fortitech redesigned its logo to better showcase its nutrient premix capabilities. The dots above the "i" in the Fortitech Premixes logo represent the company's growing catalog of nutrients, while the tagline "Strategic Nutrition" speaks to its custom nutrient premix capabilities, the company says.
