Arlanda airport, which is situated 50 km north of Stockholm, has during the last ten years expanded a lot and become a large international airport. The projects at Arlanda are for the time being one of the biggest and most interesting projects in Sweden concerning rock and blasting technology. The Arlanda link is a railway between Stockholm and Arlanda and has been a priority for a long time. The goal is to connect a railway with the flying-network and will be driven by a shuttle.
