There's something very familiar about the RXH. Cast your eye to the left of this page and you'll see the reason why... it could almost be a facsimile of the A6 Allroad. And yet this is more than a copycat. The off-road styling is actually a consequence of Peugeot's method of turning its regular cars into hybrids. Rather than squeezing batteries and motors into the chassis floor, Peugeot unplugs the rear axle and replaces it with one housing an electric motor. And rather than sending its power back down the car, it just drives the wheels either side of it.
