In order to drive a van, you need to adjust your driving style to get used to it. Currently one of those adjustments I'm finding tricky is getting used to is the height of the pedals. Naturally you sit more over them than in a conventional car, but what I can't seem to get used to is the variation in height of the brake pedal compared with the (not so) loud pedal. So when I need to brake a little bit quicker, I can't seem to get my foot there as quickly as I'm used to. And, on the odd occasion, I've hit it side-on with my foot as I've not raised my leg high enough. Why there is such a huge difference is confusing and dangerous. In other news, I've had to fill up with more AdBlue. I swear there's a hole in my tank, certainly my wallet.
